Results

As you can see below, not only is everything is green for all our tests, the PFC is consistently very high and the efficiency is consistently between 84-86 percent – we can't argue that this isn’t a great result (for those on a 230V supply).

At 50 and 75 percent load the unit was virtually silent, with only a very low fan noise that wouldn't be heard once it's sealed inside a case. The unit remained cool to touch all over and the air only started to get a little warm after a while left running at 75 percent.

At 100 percent load the base got warm but the sides remained cool and the air expelled out the back was now warm-to-hot. The noise did increase but even after some time left fully loaded it was still very quiet.
